Having been designing for a while I tend to reach for themes that are common but I am looking for a challenge and would like to know if there are any themes or occassions that you really struggle to find suitable papers, templates or other printable design materials for ... no limits, any ideas are welcome ...
I plan to update this thread as and when a challenge has been received and met ... why not subscribe and follow the progress - look forward to seeing you all here again soon :D
Best Wishes,
James.

Thanks for the quick replies. Men is always a hard one - in your instance, is this because the men you are creating something for are into a certain activity that just isn't tackled by other designers? If so, what do they like / get involved in? Or is it just because they are difficult to by for?
I see that the craft market has picked up a bit on this one - they probably had the same problems you had - but I think you are right, it is still a bit lacking.
Best wishes,
James.

We get a lot of requests for commercial use templates; there are a lot of designers out there who’d be willing to pay for good commercial use templates, cu templates are very hard to come by so you can name your price

Hello again Sammy,
Thank you for the big list! All great ideas.
Just wanted to pick your brains about commercial use templates - please can you clarify what you mean in this respect and how it would work on your site.

Thank you for the input.
Coming from a large family myself I can imagine your difficulties in finding suitable things year after year. Are they developing any hobbies or interests that you would like to focus a project on in the future?

All of the template that you’ve added to the site already are perfect, many of the designers would love to use them to make there own sheets for sale (if possible), if would be a good idea to relist them at a slightly higher price with commercial use attached,
I’ll send you a few of my template so you can get an idea of what customer and designers like.

Hi James,
I for one (and I'm sure there would be others interested) would like some basic templates for cards such as spring cards, side-stepper cards (I know you can get lots of different variations on these,) 'diamond' top/double diamond etc.
They are becoming really popular amongst us cardies as a refreshing variation on the traditional basic-fold card. :D
Thanks for asking, and good luck with sales here at CMD. ;)

I would be interested in coming up with some templates for designers but wondered what kind of price would you set for them?

Not really sure at the moment Debbie, I was going to put this question to Sammy once I had a few things ready to upload. I think that she would be best answering this question.

If your going to sell template as designer resources then you can sell them for a little but more purely because you are letting somebody else make money from your work,
As an example James has a set of 121 templates which are £4.50 for personal use but I would be inclined to add them as designer resource for £6 or £6.50,
