Hi All

Are the penny slider cards hard to make and can anyone give me a step by step on how to do them?

Hi Emma,

It sounds like these are really straightforward going by Sammy's instructions.

After getting your card blank sorted with its backing paper etc., (Sammy suggests A5) - use foam pads to stick the slider slot onto card/paper.

Join penny's together using a foam pad - and add another foam pad to the front of first penny. (penny - foam pad - penny - foam pad) Slot the pennys into the slot so you have a penny either side of the slider, and check it moves freely. If so, add your embellishment to the front of the penny. Then Bob's your uncle and your done! :D

Think I'm going to try one of these now. lol

Hi crazyem I haven't made penny sliders yet either, but I have another question. We don't use pennies in Australia so I am wondering if anyone knows the weight of these so I can get washers or similar to replace the pennies. The weight may not matter but I'd really appreciate anyone's ideas. Thanks cardlover

Hi Cardlover :D

Our penny's diameter is 2cm - I think you're right saying the weight probably doesn't matter, but just in case it's 3.5g approx. Have fun with your penny/washer slider :D
