Designers Showcase Galleries...?

Hi to all you wonderful designers out there.......we are just loving your wonderful creations, keep up the wonderful work! ;)

I haven't run this past you yet Sammy, I hope its ok to suggest this....?

I have a suggestion.....what do you all feel about having a Designers Showcase Gallery? By that, I mean a gallery for you designers to put photo examples of your downloads once they have been made up into their finished state? The reason I think it would be a fab idea, is that sometimes its really difficult for people like me to visualise what the finished product might look like, especially some of the more complex designs you have cleverly created(obviously not everyone would make it in exactly the same way.)

I know at least one of you (so sorry, I can't remember which of you it is off the top of my head :icon_redface:) has started to do this in their album in the main gallery, and I feel sure that it would increase sales for you all. :D

Obviously I appreciate that it would be somewhat time-consuming for you already very busy people, but maybe you have a friend/sibling/child who would be able to help you out....? (Perhaps even some of us members could share our cards made using your downloads for you to display?)

Phew! Glad you like the idea Sammy, I felt a bit cheeky suggesting it on the forum before running it past you first! :icon_redface:

I know I have bought several downloads after seeing examples of what they look like finished, so am sure it will help others and also boost sales! ;) ;) ;)

Hi again designers! :D I have added a few cards I have made from your downloads, (hope they are ok for you,) and included a link to the download too. If anyone would prefer me NOT to upload my card examples then please let me know, I will not be in any way offended! ;) I am sure that your examples will be far better than mine (and of course I can only add pics of downloads I've actually bought, whereas you can do all of them!) ;)

(Oh yes, I remembered that it is DEBBIE GIBBONS who has examples of her cards in her member gallery! :D)

Quick question - Is there a way I can transfer pics from my personal gallery to the Designer Showcase Gallery or do I need to re upload them to the Designer gallery?

Hi Debbie,

yes, you can change the category of your photos quite quickly and easily. If you go into each picture individually, and go to 'photo options' (just under upload photos on the right hand side.) Select 'edit photo' from Admin options and there you will find the option to 'change category?' From there you can select the Designers showcase gallery from the dropdown menu. Don't forget to submit changes!!!
