Is it just me or has anyone else had problems with Pinflair glue showing through paper?
I've only recently started using it as silicone was making me wheezy. It's happened twice to me today! Once on paper which was not specifically designed for crafting but the second time was on a sheet which I purchased online! (not a download).
I'd be greatful for any feedback!

I've only used Pinflair a couple of times, and have never used silicone before. I got it as it was odour-free, but to be honest, I still can't get the hang of it....need more practise I suppose, so I tend to 'stick' to the foam pads.....no pun intended!! :funny: I did try collall glue, but think I got the wrong one, as it was very 'flat' and quite 'runny'.....wasn't til I'd tried it a few times I noticed it was 'photo' glue, which I assume is different from the silicone style glue....?

Sorry, I've waffled, the short version is that I can't really help on this one, but would be interested in what other people have to say.....such a shame it ruined your work, and not once, but TWICE....

Hi Ali and Dawn
I love pinflair glue and so far not had a problem with it, but i also use the tape pens alot, Ali there is a new collal glue thats like pinflair, its great for decoupage. I know you can get it on crafters companion and ideal world.

Sorry, can't help. I only use foam pads and foam tape.
Have thought about it a few times, but as I'm a walking disaster zone, it's probably best not to try :funny:

Hiya,

I've had the problem once but that was because I was using cheapish paper I now either use photo paper or super smooth decoupage paper and so far have not had the problem again.

Ali - Yes you were probably using the photo glue which is runnish and best for matting and layering as gives you a little freedom to move your bits around before drying :)

I've never had that problem Dawn, sorry I can't help you.

I use Pinflair on the majority of my cards, but most of the decoupage I do is either die cut and shop brought, or printed onto card.

I only ever bought silicone once, and tbh the stench of it was off putting - I'm never organised enough to let my cards breath before I send them :funny::funny::funny:

I use foam pads as well but I'm not very clever at hiding them, so avoid them when I can :funny:

Hope you manage to solve your problem ;)
