Hi, I am a new member of the forum and love the card downloads on the site, however, I have noticed that not many designers mention the finished size of card. I usually make A5, 6x6" and 8x8" cards and large easel cards,as these are what my buyers request, so it would be useful to know sizes before I make any unwanted purchases.

No doubt I could probably resize the sheets, but I am not a computer whiz kid!

Designers comments welcome.

Love Sheila

Sheila, I'm sure the designers could tell you more but as far as I'm aware the sheets are all designed to A4 size! That should give you a rough idea of the project size.
I'm sure someone will be able to talk you through resizing too.

Hi Sheila - if you go to the main forum there is a post that tells you how to resize projects. Unfortunately you can usuallly only reduce them not increase the size.
If there is a particular download you want you can always ask the designer through the forum.

I'm more than happy to answer questions and I'm sure everybody else is the same :)

Hi Sheila, and welcome to the forum :well done::)

I think most of the pre-designed cards have card measurements on the descriptions, but I will try to remember to double check that my future downloads do include this information for you to make life easier.

We are restricted to offering downloads that fit to an A4 page or smaller to make them printer-friendly - unless of course we are offering digital scrap pages when they can be sized up to 12 x 12 inches.

From your list of card sizes, we would be able to design the A5 size cards, but the 6x6 and 8x8 inch cards would not be able to fit onto the finished page size if it were a standard half fold card., saying that though, it wouldn't cause any problems if the design were a card front rather than a card.

The designers are always open to requests, so feel free to pop a post asking for what you would like see added to the site - like Elaine said, none of us bite :funny:

Best wishes and happy crafting ;)

Hi Shelia, firstly welcome to the forum

Im sure any of the designers would be able to give you a size guide if its not stated on the project just send them a pm, but if you are having trouble getting in contact with anyone send me a pm and i will see what i can do to help.

Like the others have said everything is desinged to be printed onto a4 size, and its not that hard to resize some of the designs, you dont have to have a special program for basic resizing as you can use microsoft word.
