Just a thought her for all you designers.

When you make decoupage sheets how about putting the first picture inside a 'box'. Sometimes i find i can't cut out a box etc for layering, i can usualy get over this by placing a sentiment topper or similar over any bits of design i dont want showing but it would be easier to have a base square etc to start with.

I already do. :D (if I understand you correctly,Tina lol).
I think it makes a nice frame for the design.

Not quite sure what you mean there Tina, but most of my designs are in frames - unless I think they work well without.
Is that what you mean? A picture without a background?

what i mean is

it would be nice on decoupage sheets to have the first/base layer in a frame so we can use it if we wish, it doesnt have to be a fancy frame just a simple shape around the base layer.

Hi Tina,

Do you mean like Sammy does on her decoupage sheets?
I tend to have my base layer as a shape with the image then all the decoupage layers.

Can you send us a link of what you are thinking, may help others understand a little better :)

I’m with Tina on this one:well done: It’s always nice to have a frame (I call it a base plate;)) then it’s up to the crafter if they use it or not,
