I have the cricut expression machine and was wondering what are the chances of having SVG or MTC files for sale? Most sites I have been on do files for other machines too and as I have quite a few from here I was hoping these would be available too?
Looking forward to the reply.

Hi Myra

I've been looking into this for you and found the following blog to convert gsd files to svg.

http://createatdreamscrapbooks.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-to-convert-your-gsd-files-to-svg.html

I will have a go at this for you, but tbh I'm not too clued up with the inkscape program - I had promised myself to learn it but unfortunately it's one of those projects that keep getting put by the wayside.

As you've only got one post I know you can't PM any of the designers personally, so I will send a couple of PM's for you and see if they can come up with a solution, or even be able to offer the different file format for their files.

Good luck with your search, I hope you manage to sort it soon

Best wishes

Thanks so much for the pm Debbie and thanks for the link how to convert, I will try this but things to do with inkscape seem to go right over my head.

Cassyc, thank you so much for offering to convert any file I bought from you and others if the designers are okay with it. Now I will have to search into the back of my hard drive to find the ones I bought to see who they are by and I will be getting back to you.

Hugs
Myra

Hi Debbie

From what I can find at the moment, I have the stepper template , the shaped easel topper template and the rocker card template, all from Adeana Howitt which I think is you, and I also have the baby trainer template from Tracey Marsh. I know I have others but I still need to find them. I also found a few others but Im not sure if they were freebies or not. No just checked and the freebies are not from CM. Maybe Cassyc can convert the files if you cant?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hugs

Hi again Myra,

I'm afraid I'm not Adreanna Howitt - I'm exactly what I say on the tin - Deborah Lauder :funny:

The gsd stepper card templates were designed by Jennifer Vouyoukas-Smith

The site doesn't have GSD downloads for the shaped easel toppers or Rocker cards.

The gsd Baby Trainer template was designed by Sammy (Samantha Murphy)

Hope that helps both you and Cassandra find the correct designers to ask them.

Good luck :)

ROF - no worries Myra :) I felt very mysterious for a minute there, thinking I had an alter ego :funny::funny: bit like Bruce Wayne and Batman :funny:

I'll send a message to Sammy today to see where we can go from here. As soon as I have anything, i'll be back - OOoh maybe it's Arnold and the Terminator ROFLMAO lol

Hi Guy’s
I can’t speak for other designers but I’m more than happy for Cassandra to convert my GSD files to SVG for you :well done:

I will mention this in my designer’s news letter on tonight so fingers crossed a few designers will start making SVG’s as well:)

:well done::well done: Well done Cassy - you are a star :well done::well done:

I think it's a great idea to ask someone who owns a completely different machine i.e. Wishblade or Cricut that way you'll know the files work before your put them on the site - and you won't have wasted your time if they're not right :Bad Boy::Bad Boy::bang head:

Thank you so much for responding to my PM - I really do appreciate it :)

Hi again Myra,

If you comment on a few cards in the gallery that will raise your posts. I'm not sure how many are needed to be able to PM, but I think it's 10 - don't hold me to that though.

Have a lovely day :)
